Nima M. Newington's Obituary
Nima M. Newington, 78, died Feb. 13, 2007, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in the Plaza, Inman.
She was born May 19, 1928, in Detroit, the daughter of Frederick O. and Emma May Rowan Newington. She had attended school in Topeka. A resident of Hutchinson since 2001, formerly of Topeka, she was a secretary at medical offices.
She belonged to Corner Stone Baptist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: four nephews, Nathan, Joel, Thomas and James Newington, all of Canada.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Pastor Larry Wedel officiating. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Visitation is from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary.
Memorials may be sent to the Salvation Army, in care of the funeral home.
