PRETTY PRAIRIE - Nina E. Seyb, 92, died Feb. 20, 2008, at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.

She was born July 27,1915, Alden, the daughter of, James W. and Ermine Bradley Dimmitt. She graduated from Johnson High School, and attended business school in Hutchinson, a long time Pretty Prairie resident. She was a homemaker.

She belonged to Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie Study Club, United Methodist Women of United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie.

On April 7, 1946, she married Earl W. Seyb in Johnson. He preceded her in death June 8, 1986.

Survivors include: a son, John Seyb, Missouri; a daughter, Nita McFarland and husband, Merlin, Kingman; a brother, Jim Dimmitt, Johnson; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents; a brother, Vic Dimmitt; and a sister, Vila Ruth.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Private family graveside services will be at 10 a.m. at Lone Star Cemetery, with the Rev. Marilyn Christmore presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, casket will remain closed.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church or to Prairie Sunset Home in Pretty Prairie, in care of the funeral home.
