Obituary

Norma "Jane" Burton, 91, died Sept. 7, 2015, at Mennonite Friendship Com-munities, South Hutchinson. She was born Sept. 17, 1923, in Stockton, to Allen and Myrl (Noggle) Low.

She graduated from Stockton High School in 1941. Jane was a member of the Eastern Star and was a homemaker. She was of the Presbyterian faith.

On Sept. 17, 1941, she married Dwight A. Burton at Phillipsburg. They shared almost 74 years of marriage. Survivors include: husband, Dwight of South Hutchinson; daughter, Chyrl Buck (Mike) of Basehor; sons, J.D. Burton of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Randy Burton (Louise) of Kansas City; grandchildren, Nathan Burton, Nichole Barton, Randy Burton Jr., Jennifer Holmes, and Jason Buck; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents and brother, Robert Low.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family to receive friends from 1 p.m. to service time Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
