Obituary

Norma Lee Fry, 86, died Nov. 12, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 28, 1927, in Preston, to Everett and Pearl (McVey) Cunningham.

Norma worked for the Meadow Gold Company, where she met Alvin L. Fry. They were married several months later on Aug. 10, 1946. They celebrated 68 years of marriage. She became a member of Temple Baptist Church in1946 and ran the Sunday school department for many years.
Survivors include: husband, Alvin Fry of Hutchinson, employed by Electrolux Corp.; son, Randall Fry of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Elizabeth McKendrick of Wichita, Ryan Fry (Jamie) of Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Ethan Fry of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kellan Fry of Hutchinson, Skyler Rupp of Wichita, Devin McKendrick of Wichita, Timbria McKendrick of Wichita; brothers, Jim Cunningham (Velma) and Dennis Cunningham, all of Hutchinson; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Marilyn Willbanks, and Patsy Jennings; and brother, Gene Cunningham.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Temple Baptist Church, Hutchinson, with Pastors Willard Stafford and Matt Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
