Obituary

Norma J. Parks, 75, died Sept. 17, 2007, at Thorne Care Center, Wesley Towers, Hutchinson.

She was born Oct. 1, 1931, in Woodard, Okla., the daughter of Will and Ruby Cavin Thomas. She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she worked for the American Red Cross.

She belonged to Union Valley Bible Church.

On Sept. 23, 1950, she married Tildon E. Parks in Hutchinson. He died July 8, 1986.

Survivors include: a daughter, Anita Conrad, Olathe; a brother, Glenn Thomas, Arizona; two grandsons, Ryan and Matthew Conrad, both of Olathe; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wesley Towers Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Steve Hodgson presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Mitchell United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be sent to the American Red Cross or the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Towers, both in care of the mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501.
