Norman J. Hesterberg's Obituary
Norman J. Hesterberg, 89, died Dec. 19, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Dec. 30, 1917, in Ellis, Neb., the son of Henry and Christena Cordsen Hesterberg. He graduated from Hutchinson High School. A resident of Hutchinson since 1927, moving from Ellis, Neb., he was the co-owner and operator of Quality Floor Center, Hutchinson, and then worked at Bybee Interiors.
He belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
On Oct. 8, 1939, he married Velma M. Westerman in Nashville. She survives.
Other survivors include many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Thomas B. Mendenhall presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today, and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Memorials may be sent to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, in care of the mortuary.
