INMAN - Norman "Butch" Regehr, 72, died Feb. 15, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital ICU.
He was born Jan. 2, 1935, in Hutchinson, the son of Aaron D. and Esther Fehdrau Regehr. He graduated from Inman High School in 1952. A longtime resident of Inman, he was a retired loadout for Buhler Mills, Nabisco and ADM Flour Mills.
He belonged to Inman Mennonite Church, Inman. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958.
On May 9, 2002, he married Dorothy Rose in Miami, Okla. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Kevin L. and wife, Kim, Inman; a daughter, Kristy R. Gaither and husband, Tim, Inman; stepchildren, Steve Smith and wife, Loretta, Hutchinson, David Rose and wife, Tonya, Wyoming, Robin Bryant and husband, Larry, Colorado, and Julie Wimmer and husband, Raymond, Cunningham, and their families; a brother, Roy, Inman; two sisters, Phyllis Horne, Hutchinson, and Jeannie Schultheiss, McPherson; and three grandchildren, Arial Regehr, Brittian Regehr and Erica Gaither.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arlin and Clyde Regehr.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Inman Mennonite Church, with Pastor Dan Dahlke presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in North Inman Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Inman Mennonite Church or to the Robert Dole V.A. Regional Medical Center, both in care of the mortuary.
