Norvel C. Holeman, 63, died May 9, 2015, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born Sept. 19, 1951, in Hutchinson, to Dale Russell and Clarice Louise (Haag) Holeman. Norvel graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1969. He was a self-employed advertising agent with Dillons and Fiest.
Norvel was a member of Mensa and a Messianic Congregation.
Norvel is survived by: sister, Sheryl D. Bradley of Hutchinson; loving companion, Cinda Medina of Pretty Prairie; daughters, Angela R. (Holeman) Doyle of Hutchinson, and Phoebe M. (Holeman) Pierpoint and husband Aaron of Little Rock, Ark.; son, Griffin P. Holeman of Fort Collins, Colo.; grandchildren, Alexadrian D. Holeman and wife Linda of Wichita, Richard P. Holeman, David J. Logan, Asha R. B. Logan, Airon R. B. Logan, all of Hutchinson; and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Clarice Holeman Depperschmidt; father, Dale R. Holeman; and half-brother, Lloyd Dale Holeman.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015, at E
Elliott Chapel, with Bert Polk officiating. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Norvel C.
