Odell Morrow, 81, of Hutchinson, died December 8, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center. He was born December 1, 1930, in Ft. worth, Texas, the son of David R. and Elva Starnes Morrow. Odell graduated from Lelia Lake High School in Lelia Lake, Texas in 1948. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the 11th Airborne Division as a paratrooper. He was a member of Crossroads Christian Church and the Salt City Cruisers, as his hobby and passion being old cars and the people who drove them. Odell was also a member of and Past Master of Keystone Masonic Lodge No. 102, A.F.&A.M. in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was a branch manager for Associated Milk Producers/Gold Spot Dairy.

Odell married Billie Ruth Didway in June 19, 1954, in Wichita. She survives. Other survivors include: two daughters, Kay Yoder and husband Mike, and Kathy Bontrager and husband Ron, all of Hutchinson; a sister, Patricia Pardue, Midland, Texas; five grandchildren, Jake Justice, Hutchinson, Josh Vernon and wife Meggan, Lee's Summit, Missouri, Jessica Brawner and husband Billy, Nashville, Tennessee, Bryan Yoder and wife Tekla, Corvallis, Oregon, and Darin Yoder, Portland, Oregon. He was blessed with five great-grandchildren, Hannah and Zoe Vernon, Sage and Sawyer Brawner, and Eli Yoder. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Leona Bains, and a great-granddaughter, Shiloh Brawner.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday December 12, 2011, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Pastors Wayne Pittman and Quintin Moore presiding. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Visitation will be Saturday, 1 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
