Ollie V. Williams, 95, died April 14, 2013, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born Aug. 28, 1917, in Hutchinson, to Erick and Helga Johnson.
She was a 1935 graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended business school. She was a ten-year employee at Cessna, a homemaker, a member of Eastern Star and First Baptist Church. Ollie was very active in the church and always ready to lend a helping hand. She was a friend to all. She was a member of many bridge clubs playing bridge five day a week.
On Oct. 3, 1942, she married Donald Earl Williams in Hutchinson. He died May 25, 2007. Survivors include: sons, Donald Williams Jr. and wife Betty of Vernon Hills, Ill., Ray Williams and fiancée Jeannie of Ocoee, Fla.; brother-in-law, Sam Golden of Ft. Supply, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rune, Arne, Vide and Johnnie Johnson.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tyler Vance presiding. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday with the family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
