Opal Z. Richardson's Obituary
Opal Zola Richardson, 88, died Aug. 23, 2006, at Hutchinson Hospital ER.
She was born Mar-ch 18, 1918, in rural Logan, the daughter of Otis H. and Zola M. Shinn Mill-er. A resident of Hutchinson since 1966, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.
On Nov. 24, 1936, she married Opie Claude Richardson. He died May 18, 1990.
Survivors include: a son, Donald Claude, Wichita; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, Virgil and Vernon Miller.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Alan D. Stambaugh presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Reno County, both in care of the mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
