Pamela 'Pam' G. Birdwell, 76, of Hutchinson, died December 27, 2023, at her daughter's home, Hutchinson. She was born July 4, 1947, in Wichita, to L. L. and Edith Pearl (Walters) Hildebrand.

Pam graduated from South High School in Wichita. She spent most of her life as a typesetter. In her free time, she liked to do a little bit of everything. Pam enjoyed crafts such as, cross stitch, crocheting, rubber stamp art, and calligraphy. Pam was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and at one time, PEO.

On August 5, 1966, she married Jonah 'Joe' L. Birdwell, in Wichita. They shared over 56 years of marriage before his passing on May 26, 2023.

Pam is survived by her: children, Chris Birdwell and Ami (Scott) Dick, both of Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren, Tonja (Josh) Metz of Hutchinson and Joshua (Sarah) Bair of Clarksville, KY; brother-in-law, Terry Wells of Mesquite, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; fur babies, Bella and Bear; and grand puppies, Riley and Reed.

She was preceded in death by her: parents; husband; sister-in-law, Frieda Wiley; brother-in-law, John Birdwell; daughter-in-law, Krissy Birdwell; and niece, Shalane Birdwell.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 407 E 12th Ave, Hutchinson.
