Patricia J. "Pat" Conrad, 78, died February 4, 2018, at Hospice House.  She was born December 12, 1939, in Hutchinson, to Wesley and Weltha (Winfrey) Swartzell.

Pat graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1958.  She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

On January 17, 1958, she married Leland Richard Conrad in Hutchinson.  He died July 1, 2006.

Pat is survived by:  son, Richard and wife Beatrice of Hutchinson; daughter, Brenda Heim and husband Michael of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittany, Zackary, Nicholas, Crystal, and Trenton; and great-grandchildren, Jose, Lille, Rosa, Jamison, Mady, Logan, and Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edward Swartzell.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Carey officiating.  Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.  A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Patricia J. Conrad Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
