Patricia Joan "Pat" Geis, 90, of Hutchinson, died September 7, 2022, at Brookdale of McPherson. She was born June 24, 1932, in Hutchinson, to Eddie L. and Leota G. (Housh) Brace.

Pat attended Hutchinson schools and graduated from Adela Hale Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper for Bank of Kansas for many years, retiring in 1997. Pat enjoyed knitting and making stained glass. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.

On June 23, 1955, Pat married Richard D. Geis, in Hutchinson. He died April 5, 2013.

She is survived by: her son, Rocky Geis and wife LaQuita of McPherson; daughter, Debbie Gilmore of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Jennifer Loy and husband Stephen of Topeka; grandson, Richard Geis of Shawnee Mission; great-grandchildren, Tyler Loy and Emily Loy; and sister-in-law, Patti Brace of Pretty Prairie.

Pat was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Thelma Plett and Peggy Hendrickson; and a brother, Bobby Brace.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4 ^th Ave., Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr. J. Ted Blakley officiating. There will be no viewing.
