Patricia Lynn Kirkland, 53, of Wichita, died September 17, 2020, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita. She was born May 29, 1967, in Medicine Lodge, to Bob and Pearl (Lynch) Hignight.

Patricia graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1985, and attended Hesston College. She was a former  member of Westside Baptist Church, Hutchinson.

In 1993, Patricia married Scott Kirkland. They later divorced.

She is survived by: mother, Pearl Hignight; son, Justin Kirkland (Ashley); and granddaughter, Addylynn, all of Hutchinson.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Bob Hignight.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements by Elliott Mortuary.
