Patricia "Pat" Lou Mans, 81, passed away Sept. 15, 2015, at her home. She was born Sept. 9, 1934, in Mount Hope, to Paul and Frances (Staggers) Saffle.
She graduated from Mount Hope High School and Salt City Business College. A parish member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Women of the Moose #1371, and Hutchinson Women's Bowling Association, in which she was a member of the Hall of Fame and a life member. She worked as a manager at both Countryside and Riverside Lanes for 19 years.
On July 9, 1953, Patricia married Anthony (Tony) Mans at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kingman. He survives. Other survivors include: son, Steve Mans and wife Candy of Cache, Okla.; daughters, Cathy Hardman and husband Gary, Christy Dunigan and husband Eric, both of Hutchinson, Cindy Byce and husband David of Cranberry Township, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Huss and husband Harris of Mount Hope; brothers, Richard Saffle of Hutchinson, Darrell Saffle and wife Judy of Farmington, Minn., Steven Saffle and wife Pam of Augusta; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Fay Donahe; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sue Saffle; and sister-in-law, Nancy Saffle.
Parish rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. with funeral mass held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Michael Maybrier. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
