Patricia Ann Miller, 81, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. She was born Feb. 9, 1932, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Edward and Charlene Holtzclaw Engler.

She was a 1950 graduate of Hutchinson High School, had been a McCandless PTA President, a Sky Ryder booster, a member of Soroptimist, a longtime March of Dimes supporter and was a member of First Christian Church, Hutchinson. She was the owner of Sunflower Electric Supply.

On Aug. 31, 1951, she married Melvin L. Miller in Hutchinson. He died July 18, 2005.

She is survived by: her children and their spouses, Melanie and Randy Sodowsky, Phil and Debbie, Annette and Bobby Holmquist, all of Hutchinson, Scott and Lori of Owasso, Okla.; a sister, Kay Engler of Hutchinson; ten grandchildren, Jason (Annette) Holland, Valerie Holland, Jennifer Holland, Monica (Brad) Holder, Staci (Chris) Charlton, Bryce (Brandi) Miller, Kyle (Scarlett) Miller, Eric Miller Farrell, Cassandra Taylor, Katie (Ryan) Baker; step-grandchildren, Justin (Chastity) Holmquist, Jeremy Holmquist and Brandy (Matt) Simmons; great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Lauren Holland, Jake Phillip, Camryn and Andrew Holder, Gabriel and Noah Charlton, Natalie, Makenzie and Kaylee Schroeder, Adian Taylor, Brittney Baker, Kam and Kai Miller; step-great-grandchildren, Logan, Kiley, Haley, Jeffery, Emma, Xavier Holmquist, and Jade and Connor Simmons, Brecken, Brooklyn and Breanna and cousins, Mary Wolfersberger and Jim Dahlberg. She was preceded in death by grandson, Jeremy Holland.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with family present 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
