TOPEKA - Patricia J. "Patsy" Gallagher, 74, died July 1, 2009, at Eventide Convalescent Center, Topeka.
She was born Dec. 20, 1934, in Melbourne, Ark., to A.V. and Mary Estes Rector.
She graduated in 1950 from Toronto High School and then later attended Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia. A longtime resident of Topeka, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to First Baptist Church, Emporia.
Survivors include: a sister, Mary Gay Mullins and husband James, Hutchinson; and two nephews, Steven and Eric Mullins, both of Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, in Melbourne Cemetery, Melbourne, Ark.
Memorials may be sent to the Melbourne Cemetery Fund in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
