Patricia L. 'Pat' Lee, 88, a lifelong resident of Hutchinson, KS, died Tuesday, March 15, 2022.  She was born July 29, 1933, to Laura and Floyd Price.  Pat attended Hutchinson High School, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, James 'Jim' Lee, on December 2, 1950.

Throughout their marriage, Pat and Jim spent many hours together working for their family business, Price Poultry.  Later in life, Pat worked for Collingwood Grain/ADM as a receptionist and retired in 1998.

Pat's family always came first: her son, Jim, followed by daughters, Patty 'Katie' and Nancy.  In her early years, Pat was active as a volunteer at North Reno School, where her children attended.  She could easily be found in the stands cheering her kids on during their extracurricular activities.

Sewing was a passion for Pat, making endless outfits for her girls and yearly Halloween costumes for her granddaughters.  She loved cross stitch, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and going to movies.  Pat was a master at making home-made bread, fried chicken, and a one-bowl chocolate cake.  She also loved listening to Pop Hits and would always sing along to current songs.  Pat was an avid supporter of the University of Kansas men's basketball team.

Pat is survived by:  son, James Lee and wife Jannifer of Montgomery, TX; daughters, Katie Flora of Hutchinson, KS, and Nancy Goss and husband Dale of Prosper, TX; four grandchildren, James Lee and wife Ali of Maryland, Sam Lee and wife Melissa of Plymouth, MN, Morgan Chesser and husband Taylor of Richardson, TX, and Lindsey Goss of Plano, TX; five great-grandchildren, Taya, Jenny, Caroline, Parker, and Maddy; one great-great-grandson, Mason; brother-in-law, John Harrison; and two nieces and a nephew.

Pat was proceeded in death by:  her husband, Jim; parents; and four sisters.

Private graveside service will be Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 24, and Friday, March 25, at Elliott Mortuary.
