Patricia Darlene "Patty" Tinder, 78, died April 25, 2024, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. She was born October 31, 1945, in Canton, OH, to James P. and Barbara R. (Moorehead) Wenner.

Patty graduated from Haven High School in 1965 and attended Hutchinson Community College. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a child care provider for over 30 years. Patty was a cat-lover and absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities.

On October 18, 1969, Patty married Richard G. Tinder, in Hutchinson. He died June 18, 2011.

She is survived by: her daughter, Rebecca D. Cukjati (John); grandchildren, Serenity Davidson, Kylan Cukjati, Devlin Cukjati, Edward Cukjati, Roger Cukjati; sister, Mary Felty; brothers, Gary Wenner, Jim Wenner; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Wenner; and many extended family members.

Patty was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Timothy Tinder; sister, Sheryl Chappell; brothers, David Wenner, Tom Wenner; sister-in-law, Shirley Wenner; and brother-in-law, Gary Felty.

Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, in Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson.

Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday thru Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
