Patricia Ann "Pat" Weesner, 77, a wonderful mother, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007.

She was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Garden City, the daughter of Charles Burton "Sib" and Anna Ruth Jones Wheeler. She was a 1947 graduate of Sylvia High School and attended Hutchinson Community College and the University of Maryland. She was a homemaker, serviceman's wife, and worked at Borton Inc., for 25 years, retiring in 1992, as the accounting manager.

She grew up in Peace Creek Church of Christ and attended Victorious Life Church.

On Sept. 6, 1947, she married William F. Weesner in Elko, Nev. He survives.

Other survivors include: three sons, Chuck and wife, Bev, Sylvia, Bill and wife, Connie, Hutchinson, and James and wife, Tina, Hutchinson; a daughter, Karen Hitchcock and husband, Hayden, Hutchinson; two sisters, Sibyl Carle, Anchorage, Alaska, and Jane Volkerding, Cape Girardeau, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, in Peace Creek Cemetery, one-half mile north of the Reno and Stafford County Line, with Pastor Jim Francis presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The casket will be closed.

Memorials may be sent to Victory in the Valley or Victorious Life Church, both in care of the funeral home.
