Patsy Louise Bednar, 73, passed away December 16, 2021, in South Hutchinson. She was born February 28, 1948, in Woodard, Oklahoma, to Wesley and Edna (McKenna) Mathews.

She enjoyed going to the Moose Lodge with her husband, Norman; spending time helping out at their daughter's daycare; and time spent with family and friends was great.

On November 28, 1970, she married Norman Joe Bednar, in Hutchinson. Her husband of 51 years, Norman passed away September 15, 1995.

Patsy in survived by: daughter, Julie Young and husband Kelan; sister, Mary Swepton; granddaughters, Brooke and Morgan Young, all of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant granddaughter, Addison.

Visitation with family present will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.  Inurnment of her cremains will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Belleville City Cemetery, Belleville.
