Patsy Marie Kneisley, 77, died May 2, 2006, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

She was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Franklin W. and Norma Dorser Giles. She graduated from Center High School, Kansas City, MO. She was a resident of Hutchinson since 2001, formerly of Kansas City, MO, Huntsville, Ala., Germany, Wahington D.C., Fort Dix, NJ, Louisburg and Manhattan. She was a retired secretary for Fort Riley Correctional Division, retiring in 1990.

On April 17, 1948, she married Kenneth C. Kneisley in Kansas City, MO. He died June 12, 1981.

Survivors include: a son, Kevin and wife, Janice, Hutchinson; a daughter, Pam Bumstead and husband Kim, Stafford, VA; five grandchildren, Erin Upton, Bryan Bumstead, Kendra Kneisley-Ward, Kristopher and Korey Kneisley; and a great granddaughter, Samantha Upton.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Giles.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Dr. Wayne Pearson, Pastor Bob Shelton and Irv Hoffman presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends from 5 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Fort Riley Post Cemetery, Fort Riley Military Base, with the Rev. Jim Reed presiding.
