Patsy L. "Pat" Roberts died March 25, 2008 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born January 2, 1925 in Sulpher, Oklahoma to Joseph B. and Hazel Mae Williamson Fortier. She received her High School diploma in 1942 from Stephens College in Columbia, MO and received an Associate of Arts also from Stephens in 1946. Pat married Dick C. Roberts in Hutchinson on October 14, 1956. He died June 17, 1996. Pat lived most of her life in Hutchinson.

Pat was a vital and energetic woman who loved life. She worked at Park Place Christian Church, Underground Vaults and Storage and volunteered for a number of organizations, including Girl Scouts and PTA. She was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church. She had many interests and loved activities with her Red Hat friends, running "Camp Granny," traveling, and serving as the number one champion and encourager to her children.

Preceded in death by her husband Dick and her daughter-in-law Kay Roberts, Pat is survived by her brother, Joseph W. Fortier (Arkansas City, KS), her sister Joan McCormick (Hot Springs Village, AK), her daughter Dixie Roberts Junk, son-in-law Robert and granddaughter Grace (Westwood, KS), her son Richard Roberts and grandchildren Isabella, Micah, and Juliana (Overland Park, KS), and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation will be held at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N Main, Friday from 6-8 pm. We will celebrate Pat's life with a memorial service and committal at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Grace Episcopal Church, 2 Hyde Park Dr., with Reverend Michael P. Milliken officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Grace Episcopal Church, Hutchinson Zoo or Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center in care of the mortuary.
