Patricia Ellen Hornbeck, 69, died July 7, 2023, at her home in Nickerson. She was born June 14, 1954, in Hutchinson, to Oscar and Colleen (Cavanaugh) Hornbeck.

Patty graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1972. She worked for many years as a banker at Central Bank and Trust and at retirement she was working for Jackson Meats, in Hutchinson. Patty enjoyed spending time outside, especially taking care of and perfecting her yard. She loved to spend time with her family.

Patty is survived by: husband, Rick Schuller, Nickerson; brothers, Dan Hornbeck (Pam), Hutchinson, Mike Hornbeck (Dana), Owasso, Oklahoma, Joe Hornbeck, Wichita; sister, Kathy Turner (Alan), Hutchinson; daughters, Lori Kaufman (Brandon), Amarillo, Texas, Jessica Pyles (Willie), Hutchinson; sons, Phil Schuller, Alaska, Mark Schuller, Colorado; nieces, Danette Dean (Kevin), Hutchinson, Chelsey Myrick (Josh), Hutchinson; 14 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date in Alaska.
