Patty Kelman, 82, died Friday, July 27, 2018, at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.  She was born March 11, 1936, in Arlington, to Francis 'Curly' and Genevieve 'Tiny' (Feese) Sickmon.

Patty graduated from Arlington High School in 1954.  She was a farmer's wife and dairy woman.  Patty enjoyed quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She was a lifelong member of Arlington United Methodist Church.

On May 31, 1954, she married her high school sweetheart, Duane Kelman, in Arlington.  They shared 64 years of marriage.

Patty is survived by:  husband, Duane of Arlington; daughter, Dena Sherow and husband Mike of Langdon; sons, Steve Kelman of Hutchinson, Jeff Kelman of Wichita; brother, Darrel Sickmon of Denver, Colorado; sister, Marjorie Rickett of Wichita; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Schar Cross officiating.  Burial will follow in Lerado Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.  The casket will remain closed.
