Paul J. Flores, 82, died Oct. 20, 2015, at his home. He was born June 21, 1933, in Missler, to Pablo and Cecelia (Molina) Flores Sr.
Paul graduated from Pratt High School in 1950. He joined the United States Air Force in 1954 and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, retiring in 1971.
On July 10, 1959, he married Elizabeth J. Colwell in Texas. She died July 3, 1997. Paul is survived by: his daughter, Mary Sneath (Tony) of Hutchinson; granddaughters, Ami Crank (Kyle) of Hutchinson, Kaila Sneath (Tony Bell) of Wichita; brothers, Al Flores of Dodge City, Richard Flores of Mulvane; sisters, Tillie Absher of Wetumka, Okla., and Jane Park of Pittsburg, Kan. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers, Amado, Frank and Vincent "Ben" Flores.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Father Mike Maybrier presiding. A private family burial will be held. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Reins of Hope in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
