Paul Clinton Higdon passed away April 22, 2012. He was born July 22, 1934, the son of Dave and Edna Mills Higdon in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: his wife, Darlene, Hutchinson; a son, Philip (Toni), Topeka; a daughter, Tammy Higdon, Little Rock, Arkansas; a stepson, Mark Stark (Megan), Colorado; two brothers, Tom (Jerri), Benton, and David (Chris), Hutchinson; four grandchildren, Nathaniel and Kaleb Higdon, Christian and Hannah Brooks; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Norma Higdon; and his first wife of 48 years, Alice Ann Russell Higdon.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Elliott Chapel, with Jimie-Wray Mead and Duane Eggleston officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, in Vamoosa Cemetery, Vamoosa, Oklahoma. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m., at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Carpenter Place, Wichita, or Eastwood Church of Christ (Widow/Widowers Ministry), in care of the mortuary.
