Paul Wilfred Knapp, 84, of Hutchinson, died May 11, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born November 18, 1935, in Wichita, the son of Herman B. and Anna M. (Edwards) Knapp.

Paul worked as a Service Manager for Ryder Truck Rental for 25 years and as a truck driver for Alumax for 35 years. He was an avid hunter.

On April 17, 1955, Paul married Cora M. Hobbs in Wichita. They shared 66 years of marriage. She survives.

Also surviving are: sons, John Knapp (Rhonda), Buhler, Paul H. Knapp, Hutchinson, Terry Knapp (Anne), Mulvane, Robbie Knapp (Penny), Sedgwick; grandchildren, Brice Knapp (Kyla), Sterling, Michael Knapp, Lawrence, Daniel Knapp (Baylee), Hutchinson, Austin Knapp, Kansas City, Robbie Knapp, Lawrence, Audrey Knapp, Wichita, Derek Knapp, Wichita, Steven Shields (Tiara), Halstead; great-grandchildren, Statton and Wyatt Knapp, Kaylee, Kyree, and Keaston Shields; sister, Dorothy Carson (Darrel), Mullinville; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, J.L. and Herman 'Mickey'; sisters, Doris Bell, Aylene Johnson, Elizabeth Thompson.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Paul's life will be held beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at 11807 E. 82 ^nd Avenue, Buhler. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday thru Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
