Paul Lawson, 71, passed away December 11, 2021, at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler, KS.  He was born January 3, 1950, in Hardtner, KS, to Henry F. and Oma (Danley) Lawson.

Paul was a graduate of Central Christian High School, Hutchinson.  After high school, he pursued a lifelong career as a professional truck driver.  Paul was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved getting together with family and singing Southern Gospel music.

On July 10, 1970, Paul married Mary Troyer, in Hutchinson.  They shared over 51 years of marriage.

He is survived by:  his wife, Mary Lawson of Hutchinson; children, Todd (Stephanie) Lawson of Kingman, KS, and Michelle (Monte) Cross of Buhler, KS; grandchildren, Ansley (Deaton) Hawley of Winston Salem, NC, McKinley Cross of Peru, NE, Mallory Cross and Mitchel Cross of Buhler, KS; great-grandson, Ryeder; sister, Joyce Haney of Hutchinson, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private Celebration of Life in the future.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Central Christian School, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
