Paul E. Robinson, 84, died Sept. 13, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born Feb. 15, 1926, at Auburn, Kan., the son of J.E. and Clara Robinson.
Paul graduated from Fowler High School in 1944. He was a World War II veteran, serving with the Army as a MP. He owned Robinson Artificial Breeding and was an artificial breeding technician for 35 years. He was a member of the Community Church of the Brethren and the Reno County Artificial Breeding Association.
On April 2, 1950, he married Betty Ikenberry at the Church of the Brethren in Wichita. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Thomas A. Robinson of Hutchinson; two brothers, Leonard F. Robinson and wife Irene of South Hutchinson and Larry J. Robinson and wife Pat of Hutchinson; a sister, Bertie Davidson and husband Ned of Magnolia, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marjorie Trimmer.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, at the Community Church of the Brethren with Marlo Oltman and Ed Switzer presiding. Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. A private inurnment will be held in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Church of the Brethren, in care of the mortuary.
