Paul James Wright, 76, died June 26, 2012, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born Aug. 20, 1935, in Fort Scott, to George W. and Idona B. Schrock Wright.

Paul graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1953, was in the United States Marines and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by: brother, Sam Wright of Hutchinson; sister, Leah Wolcott and husband Edward of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Wright; and sisters, Dora Wilhite and Margaret Mosier.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel. A private family inurnment will be held.
