ELLSWORTH - Wynona Pauline "Meema" Fager, 71, died Nov. 18, 2011, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born July 2, 1940, in St. John, the daughter of James and Roberta Krenzel Curtis. She was a homemaker.
On Dec. 23, 1961, she married Paul Joseph Fager in Pratt. He died July 29, 1986. Survivors include: a son Joe and Brenda Shaffer, Valley Center; a daughter, Mary Wynona and Rick Perkins, Ellsworth; brothers, Gene Curtis, Aurora, Colo., and James Curtis, Arvada, Colo.; sisters, Imogene Pedigo, Broomfield, Colo. and Patricia Sargent, Phoenix, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a grandson, Paul Grant Fager; sisters, Mary Lorene Bachtold and Marie Curtis and a brother, Glen Curtis.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at First Church of God, 7th and Jefferson, Hutchinson, with Pastor John Carney officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, near Preston. Memorials may be sent to Kansas Association for the Deaf, in care of the mortuary.
