Pearl May Bigger, 89, of Hutchinson, died on Nov. 1, 2016, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born July 12, 1927, in Newton to Floyd and Hazel Ruth (Havens) Rogers. She received her certificate of graduation in 1945. Pearl worked for Western Manufacturing, Hutchinson Bag Corporation, and was a member of Community Church of the Brethren.
On Sept. 22, 1945, Pearl married Raymond Willis Bigger. He died April 6, 2001.
Survivors include: children, Judith Hillshafer and husband Wayne of Broken Arrow, OK, Don Bigger and wife Char of Wichita, Joe Bigger and wife Cathy of Buhler, Gary Bigger and wife Darla of Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Loganbill of Moundridge, Reva Cunningham of Newton; brother, Donald Rogers of Newton; sister-in-law, Mildred Rogers of Wichita. She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Rae Jean Bigger; brothers, Charles and Thomas Rogers.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
