Peggy Caroldine "Carol" Bare, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, 73, died April 27, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.

She was born June 9, 1936, in Hutchinson, to Leo and Hazel Robison Marshall.

She attended Hutchinson High School. She was a homemaker.
She was a past member of the First Southern Baptist Church. She was an avid bridge player.

On May 9, 1953, she married Ambrose Grady "Jim" Bare in Newton. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Dale and wife Karen, Hutchinson; a daughter, Erron Janzen and husband Butch, Hutchinson; two grandchildren, Grady Bare, Hutchinson, and Shelby Day, Hutchinson; and three great-grandchildren, Brett Estrella, Logan Day and Riley Day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Mark Bare, and a brother, Leo Marshall Jr.

Memorial graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday April 30, 2010, in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Bob Phipps. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
