Peggy Ann Moffett, 72, died July 23, 2022, at Ascension Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita.  She was born November 15, 1949, in Hutchinson, to Melvin Cecil "Mutt" and Norma Marie (Schanbacher) Teter.

Peggy graduated from Buhler High School in 1967, and McPherson Vocational School of Nursing in 1968.  She was a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Peggy started her career in 1968 at Grace Hospital, retiring March 2011 from Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after 42 ½ years of service.  She was a member of TOPS 9153 and a lifelong Nazarene, most recently attending First Church of the Nazarene, Hutchinson.

On August 8, 1973, she married Lawrence M. "Larry" Moffett, in Hutchinson.  They shared 48 years of marriage before his death on January 5, 2022.

Peggy is survived by:  daughters, Pamela Gosnell (Nick) of Inman and Carol Church (Nathan) of Great Falls, MT; brothers, Dennis Teter (Sherry) of Buhler and DouglasTeter (Vicki), of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Daphne Church, Kaitlyn Church, Ephram Gosnell, Ezra Gosnell, and Ezekiel Gosnell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; an infant brother, Billy; and a brother, Richard Teter.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Kent Pedersen officiating.  Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery with Pastor Steve Hodgson officiating.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2022, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
