Pete Whitlock, 91, formerly of Hutchinson, died November 20, 2022, at Victoria Falls Assisted Living, Andover.  He was born June 28, 1931, in Hutchinson, to Thomas Albert and Daisy Alice (Gass) Whitlock.

Pete served in the United States Army and Navy Reserves.  He loved to fish and spend time with family and friends.

Pete is survived by:  daughters, Cathy (Tom) McBride of Grandview, MO, and Cheryl (Dan) Thompson of Towanda; siblings, Shelia Mattison and Dick Whitlock, both of Hutchinson, and Micki Clift of Missouri; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; and Joan Whitlock of Andover.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; two brothers, three sisters; a daughter, Cynthia Whitlock Beshore; and a son, Chris Whitlock.

Cremation has taken place. Pete requested no service.  Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS is in charge of arrangements.
