Peter E. Rumback, 62, died July 16, 2011, at his home, Hutchinson. He was born March 16, 1949, in Hoxie, Kansas, the son of Walter and Julita Marie Weigel Rumback. He was a 1967 graduate of Trinity High School and he then served in the Army from 1968-1971. Peter loved to cook and worked as a waiter for various restaurants, including the Mesquite Tree in South Hutchinson.
He is survived by a sister, Diana M. Strawn and husband Danny and a brother, John Rumback, all of Hutchinson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Christopher Rumback.
Parish Rosary will be Friday July 29, 2011 at 9:30 a.m.and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church.
