Phyllis Lee Hendrickson, 77, of Hutchinson, died August 31, 2022, at her home. She was born February 5, 1945, in Hutchinson, to Joseph A. and Ola M. (Fletcher) Kunzie.

Phyllis graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1964. She was a homemaker whose whole life revolved around her family. Phyllis also had a big heart for animals. She was of the Baptist faith.

On August 15, 1964, Phyllis married Donald J. "Donnie" Hendrickson. He died December 19, 2008.

She is survived by: her daughter, Kim Elliott (Mike) of South Hutchinson; son, Curtis Hendrickson of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Matt Elliott (Brandy Harris) of South Hutchinson, Christian Elliott (Jessie) of McPherson, Derek Hendrickson (Collette) of Hutchinson, Dustin Hendrickson (Leigha) of California; Nathan Hendrickson (Courtney) of Nebraska; great-grandchildren, Kaedynce and Kadeyn Elliott, Jason Hendrickson; brothers, Joseph Kunzie of Hutchinson, Thomas Kunzie of Hutchinson, Raymond Kunzie of Wichita; and devoted neighbors, Eva and George Pruitt.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4 ^th Ave., Hutchinson. Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
