Phyllis K. Ragland, 90, died April 23, 2012, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 10, 1921, in rural Stafford County, to Kirby Daniel and Sarah Margaret Cadman Henry. Phyllis worked at Winchester Packing Co. and retired in 1983.

Phyllis is survived by: children, Roberta Evans and husband John, Hutchinson, Bruce Taylor and wife Sharon, Hutchinson, and JoAnn Vine, Wichita; sisters, Darlene Winslow, Dacono, Colo., Veldean Cross, Denver, Colo., Colleen, Phoenix, Ariz., and Karen Sue, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: daughters, Donna Rae Pina, Carrie L. Henricks and Marsha Isenberg; six brothers; and two sisters.

Memorial graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Fairlawn Mausoleum, with Chaplain Mike Hambley officiating. Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, Cancer Council of Reno County, or Dillon Living Center, in care of the mortuary.
