Raleigh 'Harold' Owen, 74, of Hutchinson, died Saturday, December 8, 2018. He was born December 23, 1943, in Lincoln, NE, to Raleigh Lynn and Goldie Marie (Ferguson) Owen.

Harold was a taper and dry wall specialist for over 40 years in Nebraska and Kansas.

On January 20, 1969, he married Maryann Margaret Eichberger in Lincoln, NE. Harold is survived by: his wife of 56 years, Maryann of Hutchinson; sons, Scott and wife Linda, Chris and wife Sally, Todd and wife Mary, all of Hutchinson, Danny and wife Kim of Nickerson; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his siblings and their spouses, Carl and Joyce Owen, Shirley and Jim McGrath, and Donna and Tony Mack; and granddaughter, Carly Guyll.

Parish Rosary will be 6 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 211 East 5th Avenue, Hutchinson. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the church with Father Michael J. Maybrier presiding. Burial will be in Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter or Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
