Ralph E. Freeman, 87, died Jan. 30, 2006, at his home, Hutchinson.
He was born May 2, 1918, in Pretty Prair-ie, the son of Elbert and Carrie Musick Freeman. He was a farmer, stockman and custom cutter in the Pretty Prairie Community.
He belonged to Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church.
On Sept. 4, 1935, he married Edith Margaret Carder in Kingman. She died Feb. 6, 2002.
Survivors include: a son, Elbert, Buhler; three grandsons, Justin and his wife Gretchen Freeman, Brandon Freeman, and Troy and his wife Sandy Freeman; four granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Freeman and a childhood brother, Senth Freeman; and a sister Ruth Nunn.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Melvin Walton presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lone Star Cemetery.
