Ralph W. "Bud" Noyes, Jr., 78, died Monday, April 18, 2011.

He was born April 20, 1932, in Hutchinson, the son of Ralph W. and Marcelline M. Miller Noyes, Sr.

He had been a lifetime Hutchinson resident, graduating Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College, attended Illinois College of Podiatry and Foot Surgery, was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Hutchinson Ambucs, American Legion Lysle Rishel Post #68, a U.S. Army Medical Corp. veteran and had been a small business owner of B and D Carry Out for 25 years.

On Aug. 22, 1953, he married Mary Lou Daugherty in Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: their children and spouses, Melyn and Richard Barnett of Hutchinson, Guy of Houston, Texas, Marc and Laura of Wichita, and Todd and Jackye of Lee's Summit, Mo.; a sister, Mary Jo Stamey of Winston Salem, NC; ten grandchildren, Shannon and Lee Almaraz, Bryce Noyes, Bronwyn Noyes, Amber and George Gitungo, Heather Barnett and Jay Caston, Ashley Noyes, Andrew Noyes, Lyndsey Barnett and Josh Hamilton, Addison Noyes, and Hailey Noyes; and eight great grandchildren, Iliana Gitungo, Camden Noyes, Elijah Gitungo, Lennon Almaraz, Isaiah Caston, Emilé Almaraz, Reghan Pace and Kole Pace.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ladd, an infant son, a sister, Jacqueline Shuman, and a grandson, Jason Brower.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Faith United Methodist Church with Pastor Ron Kite officiating. Friends may sign his register 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with a viewing from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory.
