Ramona Almanza, 70, died October 21, 2026, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born July 19, 1956, in Hutchinson, to Jesse and Beatrice (Martinez) Almanza.

Ramona graduated from Trinity Catholic High School and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.

Ramona is survived by: her siblings, Nick Almanza of Kansas City, MO, Edward Almanza and Vincent Almanza (Mavis), all of Hutchinson, Ernie Almanza of Wichita, and Mary Nichols of Hutchinson; seven nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Jesse Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, with Father Eric M. Weldon officiating. Inurnment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
