Randall J. "Randy" Feezor, 52, went to meet the Lord on May 10, 2006, passing away at his home after his battle with cancer.

He was born to wonderful parents, George W. and Karen Pedersen Feezor, on July 10, 1953, in Hays. He was a 1971 Hutchinson High School Graduate. A Hutchinson resident since 1958, moving from Hays, he worked for the city of Hutchinson for 28 years as a master mechanic for the Hutchinson Fire Department.

He was a member of the Hutchinson Fire Fighters Association. Randy loved and cared for his family with a great passion, and he always put them first. He loved to fish, camp, boat and teaching each child to enjoy nature as he had done.

In 1976, he married Dollie "Pauley" Shafer in Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Chad Feezor and Bradley Shafer, both of Hutchinson; five daughters, Chelsie and Karson Feezor, both of the home, Janie Manges and her husband Jim, Nickerson, Julie May and Loura Murray and her husband Todd, all of Hutchinson; three brothers, George, Albuquerque, N.M., Kenneth, Jacksonville, Fla., and Thomas, Hutchinson; two sisters, Marilyn Fenton, Little Rock, Ark., and Judy Bartlett, Topeka; six grandchildren; and special family friend, Timothy Ward.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Cecil Shafer; a grandson, Blake Shafer; and a brother, Gene.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Wayne Johnson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with graveside honors conducted by the Hutchinson Fire Fighters Local No. 179 Honor Guard.
