Randy J. Redinger, 70, of Hutchinson, died Friday, December 8, 2023, at Hospice House, in Hutchinson. He was born February 6, 1953, in rural Yoder, to Darwin Leo and Doris Helen (Parker) Redinger.
Randy graduated from Herington High School in 1971. During his life, he worked: as an oil roustabout, in mobile home service, at Hutchinson Correctional Facility, and Ebeling Pools. Randy would always lend a helping hand, if needed.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Randy was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ, Hutchinson.
On October 20, 1973, he married Sondra A. Buckwalter, in Medicine Lodge, KS. They shared over 50 years of marriage before his death.
Randy is survived by his: wife, Sondra, Hutchinson; sons, Justin W. Redinger, Wichita, and Joshua D. Redinger, Hutchinson; daughter, Jody L. (Dustin Whitford) Redinger, Hutchinson; grandchildren, Hunter Redinger, Hailea Redinger, and Jayla Whitford of Hutchinson, and Nyla Warren, Lawrence; brothers, Rex (Beth) Redinger, Hutchinson, Guy (Sandra) Redinger, Independence, MO, Robert (Pam) Redinger, Burrton, and Rick (Rita) Redinger, Newton; aunt, Talma Miller, Great Bend; brothers-in-law, Gary (Marti) Buckwalter, Bastrop, TX, David (Kelly) Buckwalter, Hutchinson, and Nelson (Lou Ann) Buckwalter, Sylvia; and sister-in-law, Carla Buckwalter, Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and parents-in-law, Allan and Betty Buckwalter.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, at Elliott Chapel, with minister Wayne DeWindt officiating. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, to Saturday, December 16, and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Reno County or Eastwood Church of Christ, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
