Regena Rene 'Gena' Raigoza, 58, died unexpectedly Monday, August 10, 2020, at Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital, Wichita.  She was born October 15, 1961, in Hutchinson, to Charles Fredrick and Marjorie Ann (Brack) Wehmeyer.

Gena graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1979.  She worked at Woodwork Manufacturing & Supply for the past 10 years as a bookkeeper. Gena enjoyed sewing, crafts, and her dogs.  For 12 years, she was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church, Hutchinson, where she taught Sunday school to hundreds of children (including her grandchildren), sharing with them the message of Jesus Christ. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.  Gena's grandchildren held a special place in her heart.

On June 8, 1979, Gena married her high school sweetheart, Chris Raigoza, in Hutchinson.  They enjoyed 41 years of marriage.

Gena is survived by:  husband, Pastor Chris Raigoza; son, Pastor Ryan Raigoza (Amy); daughter, Dusty Raigoza (Sheldon Daniel); stepchildren, Cyris Raigoza (Megan Sutcliff), Alesha Raigoza (Tim Crossno); siblings, Loxi Sykes (Bill), Kimberly Raigoza (Greg), Deseree Krause, and Wesley Wehmeyer; mother-in-law, Lucy Raigoza; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; granddaughter, Haley Ann Barlow; and father-in-law, Pastor Robert Raigoza.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2020, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastors Chris Raigoza and Ryan Raigoza officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
