Reuben Loepp, 86, died July 19, 2013, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 12, 1927, to Jacob and Maria Toews Loepp in rural McPherson County. Reuben was in the Army and was a truck driver for Churchill Trucking Company. He was a member of the American Legion Lysle Rishel Post #68. On March 12, 1960, he married Elenor Jean Goss in Wichita. She died May 3, 2009.

Survivors include: son, Richard "Rick" Ries and wife Linda, Cheney, KS; brother, Menno Loepp, Inman, KS;, sisters, Marie Draemel, Salina, KS, Esther Willems, Hutchinson, KS, Leona Koslowsky, Hillsboro, KS, Helen Faul, Minnesota, and Velma Schroeder, Inman, KS; grandchildren, Joshua Ries, Park City, KS, Crystal Ries, Cheney, KS, and Shelley Ries, CA; and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Isaiah, and Jayden Ries.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Henry and David, and sisters, Martha and Ann.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Bob Phipps presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
