Reverend Juanita Barbara Catlin, 90, passed away June 23, 2021, at Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson.  She was born October 1, 1930, in Chicago, IL, to Rev. John and Mildred Lillian (Moore) Fitzgerrel.

Juanita was a graduate of Three Rivers High School, Three Rivers, MI, and Life Bible College, Los Angeles, CA.  She attended Saint Paul School of Theology, Leawood, KS, and became an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church.  Juanita attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

In November 1964, she married Rev. Larry Dean Catlin, in Chicago, IL.  He passed away on November 22, 1972.

Juanita is survived by:  daughters, Jackie Proffitt of Wichita, and Janie (David) Patterson of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Rachel (April) Komasinski, Kelsey Proffitt, Joshua Patterson, and Benjamin Patterson; siblings, Fern Emanuel, John (Dorothy) Fitzgerrel, and Bill (Pam) Fitzgerrel; brothers-in-law, Leroy Ball and Randy (Sue) Catlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by:  her parents; husband; and a sister, Joyce Ball.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1602 N. Main, Hutchinson, with The Rev. Bill Fitzgerrel officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Nebraska.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary.
