Rex Neil Castle, 65, died July 4, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Hospital.  He was born December 18, 1954, in Hutchinson, to Billie G. 'Bill' and E. Maxine (Lintecum) Castle.

Rex attended Nickerson schools and worked as a welder.  He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his sons, especially fishing and hunting together.   Rex was also an avid arrowhead hunter.

Rex is survived by:  sons, Zac Castle of Abbyville, Cole Castle of Hutchinson; sister, Yvonne Pickerill and husband Bob of Lenexa; brother, William 'Dow' Castle of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Silas and Sylvia Castle; aunts, Betty Warner and Irene Brown, both of Hutchinson, Arlene Rees and husband Charles of Springfield, MO; two nephews; numerous cousins; Zac's mom, Sharoll Bickell; and Cole's mom, Lorna Wood.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; aunts and uncles; and a nephew.

Come and Go Celebration of Life for Rex Castle will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Abbyville Community Church, Abbyville.  Friends are invited to come and share memories of Rex with his two sons, Zac and Cole, and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rex Castle Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
